Big thanks to my friend Ed Verschure for stepping in to take care of the VAN Morning Show for the last few days in my absence. While I was enjoying surgery on my sinus cavities (and enjoying a brief recovery period that involved heaping helpings of Percoset and Gilligan's Island), Eddie--who normally doesn't crawl out of bed till noon--was here for you in his inimitable style.
