(Hudsonville) - A 40-year-old Grand Rapids police officer will stand trial on various charges for accidentally leaving his handgun in the bathroom of an Allendale bar. A woman found John Guerrero's gun in the bathroom of Brewstir’s Bar and Grill on 48th Avenue and fired the weapon. No one was hurt in the incident. Guerrero could face up to 90 days behind bars, if convicted. He is due back in Ottawa County Circuit Court on May 18th.
