(Lansing, MI)  --  Rick Snyder has chosen his running mate for this fall's election for governor.  The Ann Arbor Republican named Brian Calley of Portland as his choice for lieutenant governor at a campaign event in Grand Rapids yesterday.  The 33-year-old Calley is finishing a second two-year term in the state House.  Democratic candidate Virgil Bernero is still reportedly considering Wayne State University Vice President Harvey Hollins the Third, Detroit City Council President Pro Tem Gary Brown, and Livonia-based Bartech Group President Jon Barfield as running mates.  Both parties have their state conventions on Saturday.
