(Nunica, MI - WHTC News) - Going back to the same cracked crib in northeast Ottawa County again and again apparently proved to be too enticing for a Muskegon County parolee.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Lieutenant Mark Bennett, it didn’t take long for investigators to find out who had been breaking into the Nunica Bar and Party Store three times in the last two weeks when the burglar alarm sounded at the Main Street establishment early last Saturday morning. All they had to do is to look up the registration of a vehicle left behind in the parking lot, go over to the residence of the suspect's mother in Muskegon Township a few hours later, and arrest the 33-year-old man without incident.
Victor Allen McCoy was arraigned yesterday in Hudsonville District Court on breaking and entering as well as parole violation charges, and remains in the Ottawa County Jail on 15 thousand dollars bond. The incident remains under investigation.
