(Flint, MI) -- The suspect in five murders and 11 other stabbings in the Flint area is scheduled for a preliminary exam this morning. Elias Abuelazam [[ ah-BUH-el 'uh-zam ]] is currently charged with one count of assault with intent to murder. He was arrested earlier this month in Atlanta before boarding a plane to Israel. Abuelazam was extradited to Genesee County last Thursday. Prosecutors say that more evidence must be processed before they can bring charges against him in any of the other 15 cases. Abuelazam has also been named as a possible suspect in three assaults in Virginia.
