MARINETTE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A high school student made his first court appearance Monday on charges that he brought a gun to school and made threats. 17-year-old Brett Bedora of Pound is charged as an adult in Marinette County possessing a dangerous weapon as a minor, carrying a concealed weapon, and 2 counts of disorderly conduct. All 4 counts are misdemeanors. Prosecutors said he took a gun to Crivitz High School January 20th, and it resulted in a 2-hour lockdown. He has since been suspended. In court, Bedora waived his right to a defense lawyer. Another hearing will be held March 18th to review the status of his case.
