(Holland, MI - Midwest Communications News) - Times are tough all over, especially for non profits. The Holland office of the American Cancer Society, which had served the counties of Ottawa, Muskegon, Oceana, Newaygo and Lake, is closing due to funding issues. It’s being folded into the Grand Rapids office, which will handle the entire region. Officials say no jobs will be cut, but savings will be realized, and that services should not be greatly affected by the consolidation.
