(Olive Twp. - WHTC News) - It’s up to the Ottawa County Prosecutor’s Office now in the matter involving Grand Rapids Police Officer John Guerrero. The off-duty patrolman apparently left his service weapon in the restroom of an Allendale bar last weekend; a woman found the handgun and accidently fired it, striking a cooler but causing no injury. Guerrero is on paid leave pending a final determination on whether charges will be filed in the case.
