Lakeshore Holds Two St. Patrick's Parades

(undated - WHTC News) - Although St. Patrick’s Day isn’t until Wednesday, two Lakeshore communities are celebrating the traditional Irish holiday with parades today. Holland holds its sixth such promenade, starting at 12 Noon, going east along 8^th Street from the Holland Civic Center through the downtown district. The eighth annual Erin Go Bark pet parade in Saugatuck-Douglas commences at 2 PM, starting at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Both parades are part of a larger day of activities in each community.
