UNDATED (WSAU) – Wisconsin motorists may soon be getting a break at the pump.
Gas prices held relatively steady today, and the price of crude oil has dropped. The Alaska Pipeline is up-and-running again, and that drove futures lower during the night. That doesn’t translate to lower prices yet – at least not everywhere.
AAA Wisconsin reports a slight three-tenths-of-a-cent increase in unleaded regular from yesterday to this morning. The statewide average is now about $3.12 a gallon – 14 cents higher than a month ago.
But Milwaukee Gas Prices-Dot-Com says some stations are charging as little as 2.97 today in the state’s largest metro, with a high of 3.19.
The regional average is just under 3.08. That’s the same as yesterday, and 14-cents more than this time last month.
