The Dazed and Confused star, 42, was set to receive the top prize at the Jacksonville Film Festival this month (Oct11), but she is said to have politely declined the award due to her age, according to the New York Post's gossip column PageSix.
The publication reports Posey told festival bosses she is ""too young"" for the trophy.
