At DeVos Fieldhouse, Courtney Kust and Allie Cerone each scored 13 points as Brian Morehouse’s women knocked off previously unbeaten Calvin, 59-55. In Albion, the second-ranked Flying Dutchmen held off the Britons, 75-69, thanks to 22 points from Nate Snuggerud.
On Wednesday evening, both of Hope’s teams are at home, and both games will be on 92.7 The Van and www.927thevan.com, beginning at 5:40 with the Flying Dutch entertaining Olivet, followed at 7:40 with the Flying Dutchmen hosting Kalamazoo.
In Allendale, Grand Valley State split a Saturday afternoon doubleheader with visiting Lake Superior State, with the Soo Lakers taking the women's opener, 51-42, but the GVSU Lakers taking the men's nightcap, 75-63. Ashland comes to the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale to challenge Grand Valley's two teams on Thursday evening.
