HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - After reports of litigation against the City of Holland by Bank of America surfaced late last week, attorneys for both the municipality and the financial giant were able to come to an agreement about a foreclosed house owned by the bank on South River Avenue that the city wanted to demolish. The condemnation has been halted while B of A will pay for full repairs in order to sell the dwelling. The city had been willing to proceed with the razing despite the lawsuit, saying that all proper proceedures were taken beforehand.
