UNDATED (WHTC) – It was a pair of road victories for Hope College on Saturday, while Grand Valley State split a couple of home games.

In Grand Rapids, Nate Snuggerud had 25 points and nine rebounds as the top-ranked Flying Dutchmen won at Calvin, 83-70. Meanwhile in Alma, Maddie Burnett tallied 18 as the Flying Dutch disposed of the host Lady Scots, 73-56. Hope has another two road contests on tap this Wednesday evening, with the Flying Dutchmen’s game at Olivet on 92.7 The Van and www.927thevan.com at 7:40 PM, and the Flying Dutch in Angola to face Trine.

At the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale, GVSU shared the spoils with visiting Lake Erie. Cate Cianchett’s 12-footer at the buzzer gave the visiting Lady Storm a 75-73 victory in the opener. James Thomas’ 17 points helped the Lakers capture the men’s nightcap, 64-57. Both of GVSU’s teams are in Findlay to battle the Oilers next Thursday evening.
