WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A Wausau man accused of tying up and sexually assaulting a hotel clerk testified in his own defense yesterday.

Timothy Grandison's testimony began late yesterday. He talked about his work ethic - saying he worked long hours as a cook at the Best Western. The court session ended before the jury could hear testimony about the alleged attack in October 2010. Then he'll be cross-examined by prosecutors.

Grandison is accused of holding the victim against her will for more than four hours. He's charged with armed robbery, sexual assault, kidnapping, and obstructing an officer. The case could go to the jury later today.
