HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 53-year-old Park Township man suffered what police called non-life-threatening injuries in a moped crash Wednesday.
The crash happened just before 4:15 p.m., June 30, 2021, as the man on the moped headed west on Quincy Street just west of 144th Avenue. He lost control of the vehicle, which went off the road and overturned. The man was not wearing a helmet, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Greg Rotman.
He went by AMR ambulance to Holland Hospital for treatment, and Rotman indicated alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation by police.
