Thomas G. Girman of Holland, Michigan, would like to share the following with you.

I died on December 31st, 2021, but more importantly, I was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on May 8th, 1939, the second child of Anna (Dzacko) and George Girman, joining my big sister Millie. I was born at home on Mother’s Day Eve, weighing over 10 lbs.

I had a wonderful childhood, getting into only a bit of trouble with my cousin and best buddy, Jackie Breza. My mom and dad were devoted Byzantine Catholic parents, and I graduated from Trenton Catholic in 1957. After serving many years as Military Police for the United States Army National Guard, I moved on to Temple University, receiving a degree in electrical engineering. Recruited by RCA Corporation in college, I commenced my long career in the Technology FIELD. I held several positions, including field-engineering, field-engineering management, sales, and sales management with emerging computer technology companies.

I met the love of my life and future wife, Jerrilyn (Roy) of Boston, MA, and we married in 1970. We had a wonderful marriage and raised our son Matthew and daughter Jessa in Wheaton, Illinois. Jerri and I traveled extensively, having visited 49 states, Mexico, and many islands, most fondly Hawaii and Bermuda. We visited France, Italy, Spain, England, and had an extraordinary trip to Slovakia, the birthplace of my parents.

I was welcomed to Heaven by my parents and sister. I leave behind my son Matthew (Carrie) of Zeeland, MI, my daughter Jessa Brown (Tucker) of Clarksville, TN. I will greatly miss the time spent with my grandchildren Anna, Katie, my golf buddy Michael, and Bodhi and Henry, a.k.a. Billy and Harry. As per my wishes, my cremains will be buried in the Girman plot at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton, New Jersey, with my family and fur baby Chloe’s remains upon her passing.

I bid a fond adieu to all.

Services will be held privately and at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local humane society.
