GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 2, 2022) – After a year’s absence, the Michigan International Auto Show returns to DeVos Place in Grand Rapids this weekend.
The 24th annual display from over 20 manufacturers of the latest models and more was a victim of COVID 19 health fears in 2020, and with no North American International Auto Show in Detroit until the summer, it will have the attention of more than just local car mavens, according to Dave Lorenz of Pure Michigan.
“It’s a real opportunity for Grand Rapids to step up the quality of the show,” Lorenz said on “WHTC Morning News” during his weekly appearance last Friday. “It’s always been really good, but it’s been deliberately than the Detroit International Auto Show, and I think there’s going to be an expanded audience from Southeast Michigan that will be missing the Detroit International Auto Show.”
A VIP Preview Party is on Wednesday night ahead of the 11 AM public opening on Thursday, with the show running through Sunday.
