HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 20, 2023) – The third of four fairs slated for the Lakeshore begins on Monday.
Calling itself “The Biggest Little Fair in Michigan,” the Hudsonville Fair goes back to 1933. In the six-day event that runs through Saturday, featured attractions include a Flying Star Rodeo this evening, along with truck and tractor pulls, an off-road demolition derby, motocross and monster trucks. For opening day, the 4-H shows involve dogs and lambs, and there will be a concert by the group Sticky Notes. The Midway doesn’t open up until Tuesday afternoon.
Fair admission is $5, with youngsters aged 11 and under admitted free, and a separate charge is levied for the midway and grandstand events. This fair comes after the Berlin Fair in Marne and the Ottawa County Fair in Park Township last month, and is ahead of the Allegan County Fair in Allegan next month.
The Hudsonville Fair is at the Fairgrounds just off of Chicago Drive (5235 Park Ave.), and an online link to more information is here.
