HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 27, 2023) – There are two new members of the Tulip Time Festival Board of Directors.
Beginning on Sunday, Sandy Pierce and Scott Stenstrom will begin terms on the governing panel for Holland’s annual signature event. Pierce, a Territory Manager for BASF, has past experience on the board for Good Samaritan Ministries, and currently chairs Women in Recycling for the Institute of Scrap and Recycling Industries, as well as being a Victim Service Advocate for the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department. Stenstrom, Vice President and Marketing/Communications Director for Fifth Third Bank, is the Race Director for the Amway River Bank Run in Grand Rapids – ironically held on the second Saturday in May opposite the traditional close of the Tulip Time Festival – and is a committee member for Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. and the Parents Council at Hope College.
Pierce and Senstrom join the other 12 members of the Tulip Time Festival board, currently chaired by Mark Dykema of Biggby Coffee. The 95th renewal of the festival is from May 4-12 of 2024.
