HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 2, 2023) – The Holland City Council met for the last time under its current setup on Wednesday night.
For three members, it was their final meeting on the Tulip City’s governing panel. Nicki Arendshorst opted not to run for a second four-year term representing the Fourth Ward.

Dave Hoekstra is retiring after five terms representing the Sixth Ward.

At Large Council Member Lyn Raymond is running for the Second Ward seat, while Mayor Nathan Bocks is seeking a third two-year term in Tuesday’s General Election. A list of candidates that will be on the ballot is here.
New members of the Holland City Council are slated to be sworn in during a special meeting on Monday, November 13th, two days ahead of the next scheduled business meeting on November 15th.
