HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 9, 2023) – An offshoot of the COVID 19 outbreak of 2020 is a new way for the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area to help the community.
Last week, the agency that funnels funds to support high-impact charitable projects announced its first round of proactive grants aimed toward supporting children and families in the Tulip City vicinity. MomsBloom received $60,000 over two years to expand its postpartum support program; West Michigan Marriage Center received $40,000 for developing and implementing a Marriage Restoration Track program; and Movement West Michigan received $30,000 for its Laying the Foundations for Comprehensive Support for Single Moms program.
Colleen Hill is Vice President of Development and Donor Services for the Community Foundation.
The Foundation will continue to distribute quarterly competitive grants in addition to this new proactive grant initiative.
