Kristie Potts, age 66, of Holland, was welcomed into the Arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Kristie’s caring nature was shown through her 44 years of work as a nurse at Holland Hospital. She was a long-time member of Park Christian Reformed Church, where she served as Deacon and Elder. She volunteered often with Grace Ministries and assisted them on their medical mission trips to Guatemala. She was an amazing Nana, and also enjoyed boating, going to the beach, traveling, and playing pickle ball.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John Potts; children and grandchildren: Matt & Ashley Potts (Emmersyn, Tanner, Andersyn, Tucker), Stacie & Jason Bruno (Alaina, Ethan), Katelyn & Joel Reimink (Elsie, Jonah, Simon); siblings: Karla & Ralph Boyea, Rick & Karen Van Ess, Ken & Grace Van Ess; father-in-law, John Potts; siblings- in-law: Sheryl & Dave Alkema, Sheila & Leon Meiste, Jeff & Cathy Potts, Greg & Carol Potts; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard & Carolyn (Brink) Van Ess; and her mother-in-law, Della Potts.
A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Park Christian Reformed Church, 1496 West 32nd Street, Holland. A Memorial Service, with Rev. Daniel Steen officiating, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 also at the church.
