HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 30, 2024) – A tobacco store in a strip mall on Holland’s North Side was burglarized overnight on Tuesday.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chris Dill, deputies were dispatched to the Admiral Tobacco shop off of Douglas Avenue near River Avenue at 3:25 AM following the tripping of an alarm. They found evidence of two suspects using a hammer to smash a glass door and enter the establishment, taking an undisclosed amount of merchandise before fleeing. The store was closed at the time, and there were no employees on duty.
No arrests were immediately made, and anyone with any information on the incident is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Ottawa County Silent Observer (877-887-4536).
