PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 23, 2024) – Four persons from Holland were hospitalized after a Saturday evening two-vehicle crash on Holland’s North Side.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Nicholas Knott, deputies and other first responders were dispatched to the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Riley Street around 7:35 PM. That was where a westbound vehicle apparently drove through a stop sign and into the path of a southbound vehicle, and a collision was unavoidable.
A passenger in one of those vehicles was pinned in and had to be extricated by rescue workers. All four persons involved in the incident – a 25-year-old man and his 25-year-old female passenger in one vehicle, and a 59-year-old man and his 54-year-old female passenger in the other vehicle – were taken to undisclosed local hospitals for treatment.
No other details were immediately revealed as the collision remains under investigation.
