BLENDON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 17, 2024) – A 28-year-old Wyoming woman died after a two-vehicle crash northeast of Zeeland on Friday morning.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies and other first responders were dispatched to the area of 72nd Avenue near Tyler Street around 8:45 AM. That was where the woman, driving a westbound sedan, had halted for the stop sign and then proceeded forward, where it was broadsided by a northbound vehicle, reportedly a cement truck. Despite being buckled up, the force of the collision caused fatal injuries for the unnamed woman, while the other driver, a 43-year-old Zeeland man, was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
