UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, May 20, 2024) – Two public entities have scheduled sessions on tap for this Monday.
The Board of the Holland Board of Public Works has a 4 PM Study Session in the municipal utility’s offices (625 Hastings Ave.). Among the items to be considered for future business meeting action are the tactical action results of both a water conservation and demand management program and public distributed generation projects in the BPW’s service area, along with an analysis of a residential demand response program.
The Zeeland City Council’s 7 PM biweekly business meeting in Chambers at Zeeland City Hall (21 S. Elm St.) will include approving a PFAs Class Action Lawsuit Claim Allocation Agreement involving water intake from Lake Michigan, with both the Zeeland and Holland BPW involved as litigants against 3M and Dupont, as well as purchasing new promotional banners for downtown utility poles. In the 6 PM work-study session beforehand, the governing panel will review the findings from a Zeeland BPW customer satisfaction survey; get an update from Lakeshore Advantage; and go into a closed session allowed by state law to discuss an undisclosed possible property purchase.
Online links are highlighted to the agendas and supporting documents before the Holland BPW Board and the Zeeland City Council on Monday.
