Rosalia Orea Perez, age 64, of Holland (formerly of Puebla, Mexico), passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Rosalia Orea Pérez was born on July 28, 1960 to the late Régulo Orea and Guadalupe Perez. She moved to the United States in 1998. Even though she had a promising life in Mexico, she wanted to move to the United States for a better life for her family. She sacrificed a great deal for her children and she never once complained. Rosalia instilled in her children discipline, responsibility and a strong work ethic. In her free time Rosalia enjoyed being outside, especially in the summer. She always enjoyed working at nurseries because of the hands-on work with flowers. She was a selfless woman with a caring soul. Her faith was very important to her. She was a devoted catholic and attended the Spanish mass at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Even on the most difficult days she never lost faith and always prayed for her children. Her family always said she was an angel sent from heaven. To have her as a mother was truly a blessing. She had a huge impact on everyone she met and there is not a day that will go by that she will not be missed. Rosalia was a radiant woman with so much love to give and that’s something that will be missed forever.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 14, at 11:00am, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street, Holland. Father Luis Garcia presiding.
Professional service entrusted to the Downtown Chapel.
