GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 28, 2024) – Not many details have been disclosed thus far, but it appears that a group of men were involved in a felonious assault south of Jenison on Wednesday afternoon.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an area off of 44th Street west of 8th Avenue around 2:20 PM on a report of these suspects approaching a vehicle, flashing a firearm, and contacting a female victim, who was not hurt. The men drove off towards the east, but with the help of Grand Rapids Police Officers, the vehicle was stopped, and the suspects were taken into custody. One of the suspects was apparently an underage teen, as he was lodged overnight at the Ottawa County Youth Home.
