UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Jan. 10, 2025) – In high school basketball along the Lakeshore last night, Unity Christian swept a pair of games from Holland at the Dutch Dome by scores of 69-39 for the girls and 51-33 for the boys.
Six girls/boys doubleheaders are slated for this evening. At 5:40 PM, hear the Hamilton at Zeeland West twin bill with Greg Chandler on 99 7/1450 WHTC, or the Black River at Saugatuck boys/girls clashes on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van. Other match ups include: Lowell versus Holland Christian at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place; West Ottawa at Grandville; Spring Lake at Zeeland East; and Fennville at Allegan.

Grand Valley State split a pair of basketball games in Big Rapids against Ferris State last night. Rylie Bisballe scored 15 points as the visiting Lakers won the women’s opener, 83-61. Ethan Erickson tallied 19 points as the host Bulldogs captured the men’s nightcap, 77-63. GVSU’s teams are in Sault Ste. Marie tomorrow evening for a twin bill against host Lake Superior State.
