HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 26, 2025) โ The opportunity for parents and other stakeholders to learn more about Holland Public Schoolsโ planned reorganization of its elementary schools, as well as looking ahead to possible changes in the district, comes on Thursday evening.
The district is staging a Community Feedback Forum to go over a five-year plan that would include streamlining the current four elementary school setup to three, with one campus being designated for an early learning center, explained HPS Director of Marketing and Communication Jason Craner.
Audio PlayerThe district will also float the possibility of a bond proposal to support the plan, which would include the construction of a multi-use stadium on the Holland High campus, so the Dutch can move out of its long-time Ray & Sue Smith Stadium home that is now owned by Hope College.
There is also an online survey to compliment the Holland Public Schoolsโ Community Feedback Forum, which is set for 5-7 PM at the districtโs Administration Building (320 W. 24th St.).
