Marilyn is remembered and loved for her gentle kindness, support, and wise counsel. Her generosity of spirit and faith extended from her family to those she encountered with daily. Marilyn worked at Donnelly Mirrors / Magna for 26 years until retiring in 2004.
Marilyn is survived by: her daughter, Kathy (Timothy) Van Raalte; granddaughter, Ashley (Steve) Van Slooten; grandson, KC McNeal; great grandsons, Jackson and Theodore Van Slooten; son Toddโs partner, Robert Quesenberry; brother, Ken Elzinga; sisters, Monty Elzinga and Laurie (Timothy) Sweet; sister-in-law, Jayne Elzinga.
Marilyn was preceded in death by: her parents, Marvin and Kathryn Elzinga; her two sons, Michael McNeal and Todd McNeal; grandson, Justin Van Raalte; brothers, Gary Elzinga and Jack Elzinga; sister-in-laws, Sharon (Ken) Elzinga and Roseanna (Gary) Elzinga.
Marilyn will be deeply missed. She would want those who knew her to smile or laugh while remembering her love and her friendship.
Marilyn will be laid to rest privately at Port Sheldon Township Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to staff at Royal Park Atrium Inn and to Hospice of Holland.
