Bobby Vigil Ramirez, age 71, of Holland, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, seven months after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
Bobby was born on June 16, 1953, to Joseph and Idida Ramirez. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam War. Upon exiting the military, Bobby earned his GED and became certified in various trade occupations including but not limited to locksmith, commercial/residential construction, and automotive services.
Bobby was an active member of the E. 12th Street neighborhood, always ready to lend a helping hand to his fellow neighbors. Whether it was yard work, machine repairs, minor home repairs, or just to have a friendly conversation.
Bobby was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 35 years, Emilia, his daughters Jehnissi and Yadah, his granddaughter Mireya, his grandson Joshua, sisters Rita, Merari, Theresa and brothers Lupe, Peter, Ernest, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, April 10, 2025 at City Hill Church, 11 E. 32nd St. Holland, MI 49423. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:00am.
