Ottawa Co. Administrator’s Job Opening Posted

OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 15, 2025) – The search is on in earnest for a new Ottawa County Administrator.

On Monday, Double Haul Solutions posted on its website the opening for such an operational leader. Applications will be accepted through May 5th, with a goal of having the board look at vetted candidates by May 27th, according to Economic Vitality & Small Community Specialist Mitch Foster, who addressed the board’s planning and policy committee on the matter last Thursday.

Former Sheriff Gary Rosema is the interim administrator and has expressed no interest in assuming the position full time. Ottawa County has been without a permanent operational leader since John Gibbs was sacked 13 and a half months ago.
