HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 16, 2025) – It shouldn’t be a long regular meeting for the Holland City Council on Wednesday night.
That’s because the governing panel of the Tulip City will be huddling afterwards with City Manager Keith Van Beek and his staff, going over the proposed Fiscal 2026 budget in the first of two straight evenings of such a review. Mayor Nathan Bocks continues to remind residents that creating and implementing a spending plan is the single most important annual task city government has.
Audio PlayerAfter going over some routine matters during the 6 PM regular meeting in Chambers at Holland City Hall (270 S. River Ave.), the proceedings then move upstairs to the second floor training room for the budget review, around 7 PM. Council will vote on the budget following a public hearing on May 14th.
