ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 18, 2025) – An annual tradition returns to Zeeland on Saturday.
From 10 AM to 12 Noon, in the heart of downtown Zeeland, over six thousand colorful Easter eggs will be hidden throughout the district, with youngsters of all ages looking for those filled with toys and candy, as well as some with numbers that corresponds with a larger prize available at a table in front of the Zeeland Bakery (130 E. Main St.).
While it’s the first annual Easter Egg Hunt staged by Zeeland Festivals, it’s a renewal of what had been a casualty of the COVID 19 outbreak of five years ago, according to Mayor Kevin Klynstra.
Audio PlayerOrganizers say that this no-pressure, scavenger hunt format is aimed at fostering a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that encourages participation from all generations.
