ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 9, 2025) – The National Association of Letter Carriers holds its annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive this weekend.
To donate, leave non-perishable food items in a bag near your mailbox on Saturday, May 10th. Donations will be returned to the local post office and then sent to nearby food banks.
About ten-thousand cities across the US are expected to participate, including Zeeland, according to Mayor Kevin Klynstra.
Audio PlayerHowever, Stamp Out Hunger will be pushed back a week in zip codes 49423 and 49424, the two serviced by the Holland Post Office, due to accessibility concerns stemming from the Tulip Time Festival. Such a collection effort is slated for next Saturday, May 17th.
