Jeffrey Rolland Mulder, age 56, passed away on May 28, 2025. He had battled Waldenström macroglobulinemia and lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma for the past 9 years and passed peacefully from complications of this rare cancer.
Jeff will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and a friend to many. He was a wonderful and faithful husband to his wife for over 30 years, and a loving father who was always there to provide a shoulder, knowledge, or helping hand to his children when needed. He loved them with all his heart and soul. In addition to the love he had for his wife and children, Jeff loved cuddling and playing fetch with his beloved labrador Winnie. After the recent engagement of his daughter, Brianna, he looked forward to walking her down the aisle and welcoming a new son-in-law within the coming year.
Jeff was the type of friend who was always there when someone needed a helping hand; he was always there to help in any way he could, even if it was talking for hours on end.
Jeff loved being a part of nature and hunting deer, turkey, or small game. He was also an avid fisherman and a member of the Holland Steelheaders for 25 years. He enjoyed homesteading by way of raising farm animals, gardening for preserving, and enjoying the fresh bounty given by nature.
He was a longtime employee of BuhlerPrince and returned after a gap to take on an assistant manager role, as BuhlerPrince had always felt like his home away from home.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Joyce Mulder. He is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart, JoAnn; his children Brianna (fiancé Roi) and Joshua. He is also survived by his brother Dwayne (Tami) Mulder.
A Celebration of Life Gathering for Jeff will be held on Thursday, June 5 from 3-7 PM at Lakeshore Memorial Services – 11939 James St. Holland, MI 49424.
Memorial contributions can be made to the International Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation – 6144 Clark Center Avenue Sarasota, FL 34238.
