HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jul. 14, 2025) – An anxious weekend for friends and relatives of a 24-year-old Holland Township woman who had been reported missing since this past Friday evening ended happily on Monday afternoon.
Jessica Boelema hadn’t been seen since leaving her adult foster care home, and was initially believed to be still in the area with “unknown people,” according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. She was wearing a black and white long sleeved shirt with black pants at the time of her disappearance. No other details surrounding her disappearance were disclosed.
On Monday afternoon, Boelema was found in the Ann Arbor area, apparently unharmed, and was reunited with her family. Again, no details as to what led to her discovery were disclosed, although Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detective Captain Jake Sparks did thank “our media partners” for getting the message out, which led to tips that led to her discovery.
