PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jul. 22, 2025) – Tuesday’s spotlight is on the kids in the second day of the 66th Ottawa County Fair.
Special activities are planned in the community tent for the youngsters on this “Children’s Day,” including face painting, exhibits from various first responders, balloon animals, story time from Herrick District Library staffers, and much more. Youths up to age 15 can also sign up to win one of 66 free bicycles to be given away in total on a daily basis, according to the Fair’s Picnics and Events Manager Shawnda Brewer.
Audio PlayerWhile the gates won’t open officially until 11 AM, folks can still get in ahead of time to catch morning dairy and rabbit shows, all part of an extensive 4-H program, according to Fair Treasurer Laura Cramer.
Audio PlayerPerforming on this Tuesday are the Conquerors Strength Team, the group Blood and Shambles, and the Unique Motor Sports bump-and-run derby in the Grandstand. The Elliot’s Amusements Carnival gets underway as well, and there will be a beer tent and a trivia tent.
