Jeffery Streur, age 43, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, following a tragic vehicle accident while working.
Jeff was a friendly soul. He loved nature and spending time in his boat by the river where he found “Peace”. He had a contagious laugh, a trademark smile, and a big heart. He was proud of his career, how it served the public, and was a dedicated worker for Consumers where he had a strong relationship with his fellow union brotherhood. He was avid outdoorsman enjoying a yearly elk hunting expedition and annual Irons Open with his brother and close friends. He continued to conquer the Appalachian Trail one part at a time.
He was taken from us to soon and the weight of his absence is incredible to bear. He will always be in our hearts, we are grateful for all the precious memories, the laughter, the love, and the strength he brought to us each day. He was a loving husband, exceptional father, son, brother, and he will be dearly missed.
