HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 13, 2025) – A look into the future of how people coming into Holland from the south would see the Tulip City will be before Holland City Council members on Wednesday evening.
During Tuesday’s monthly meeting, the Holland Planning Commission unanimously recommended to the governing panel approval of a South Washington/Michigan Corridor Plan that City Engineer and Transportation Services Director Brian White feels would be a good blueprint for improving that access into the central city.
White, along with the city’s Senior Planner Steve Peterson, are expected to brief council members on the plan during a 6 PM work-study session in the second floor Training Room of Holland City Hall (270 S. River Ave.). A final vote on the matter could come as soon as next Wednesday’s business meeting.
An online link to the study session agenda, which includes the entire South Washington/Michigan Corridor Plan, is here.
