GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 31, 2025) – A 39-year-old Hudsonville man and his two boys, aged eight and seven, escaped injuries after their SUV slammed into a residence while attempting to park on Sunday afternoon.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chad Coulson following the 4:50 PM incident at the Green Meadow Townhomes complex off of 28th Avenue north of Baldwin Street. The driver was attempted to back the SUV into a parking spot, but instead of hitting the brake, his foot pressed down on the accelerator, causing the vehicle to smash into the structure, causing what Coulson said was “significant” damage.
