HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 12, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon north of Holland led to the death of a 70-year-old Wyoming man and the hospitalization of three other persons.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Nicholas Knott following the incident on Quincy Street and 104th Avenue just before 2 PM. That was where a northbound pickup truck, pulling a double-axle utility trailer, drove into the path of a westbound sedan, leading to a collision that caused the truck and trailer to roll over.
The driver of the pickup was pinned in, and while rescue workers were able to extricate him, efforts to revive him at the scene were unsuccessful. His passenger, a 37-year-old West Olive man, along with the driver and a passenger of the sedan, both 29-year-old women from Holland, were all hurt, with the two women taken to an undisclosed “local hospital” with serious injuries. The condition of the other male passenger was not revealed.
The incident remains under investigation.
