HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 24, 2025) – Although Halloween isn’t until a week from Friday, there are a couple of activities this Saturday in downtown Holland that will get the young and young at heart into the spirit of the spirits season.
The biggest organized trick-or-treating event among downtown Holland retailers is set from 10 AM to 12 Noon, according to Principal Shopping District Marketing Coordinator Kara de Alvare.
There will also be games with a Halloween theme conducted at GDK Park, with prizes available, and nearby Freedom Village will stage a Trunk-and-Treat session.
Later on Saturday, beginning at 12:30 PM, it’s a day-long Day of the Dead/Dia de Los Muertos in the Holland Armory, put on by the Holland Museum and Latin Americans United for Progress.
Kate Leighton-Colburn is the associate director of development and communications with the Museum.
