HEATH TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 27, 2025) – For the second time in a five-hour stretch near Hamilton, a head-on, injury crash was reported on Thursday.
First responders were dispatched to Lincoln Road (M-40) near 127th Avenue just before 6:30 PM. That was where a northbound pickup truck lost control in inclement weather conditions and slammed into a southbound sedan. Another sedan couldn’t avoid a collision with the two other vehicles.
While the truck driver escaped injury, the driver and several passengers in the southbound sedan were taken to “local area hospitals” for treatment, with one of the injured initially reported in serious condition. No injuries were reported among those in the third vehicle.
Deputies believe that weather and speed were factors in this crash, which remains under investigation.
Around 1:30 PM, on 142nd Avenue near 41st Street, a westbound sedan lost control and slammed head on into an eastbound pickup truck, killing a passenger in the sedan, critically injuring a backseat passenger, and hospitalizing two others, including a 14-month-old toddler.
