Glenn Inglis Klopfer, a cherished resident of Holland, Michigan, passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on March 31, 1943, in Niagara Falls, New York, Glenn moved to Michigan to attend the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a degree in engineering.
Glenn was married to the love of his life, Kathryn Klopfer, for nearly 60 years. Together, they built a beautiful family, blessed with three children: Kristin Berends, Michael Klopfer, and Nathan Klopfer. Glenn was also the proud grandfather of Courtney Berends, Allie (Dominic) Bongiorno, and Cole Klopfer. He is survived by his brother, Robert Klopfer.
Among Glenn’s greatest passions were taking photographs and fishing. He often traveled to Traverse City to capture the breathtaking fall colors.
Glenn’s memory will be cherished by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, brother, and all who knew him.
A visitation is planned for Friday 02/20/2026 from 4:30 – 6:00 at Resthaven Care Center Chapel (280 W 40th St, Holland, MI 49423).
In leu of flowers donations can be made to the Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan.
