Guadalupe Garza Jr

Lupe was born November 26, 1948, to Guadalupe and Victorina (Barrera) Garza Sr. in Sebastian, Texas. He worked for Hart and Cooley for over 40 years until retirement. On November 25, 1980, he married Mary Ellen Rojas in Holland, MI, and they settled in Zeeland. Lupe was an avid hunter, an honorary Diamond King Manager, and a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen; children Rene Garza, Esteban (Laura) Garza, Roxana (Francisco) Gracia, and Rolando (Anna) Garza; grandchildren Abigail (Andrew) Robitaille, Rolando Garza Jr., Aaron Garza, Raven Garza, Taylor Garza, and Sierra Rodriguez great-grand-daughter Evelyn Robitaille; brother Noe (Sylvia) Garza; sister Yolanda (Juan) Cantu; many extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Lupe’s life will be at 6 pm Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. (The service will be live-streamed on Lakeshore Memorial’s Facebook page)

Visitation will be from 5-6:00 pm prior to the services on Wednesday at Lakeshore Memorial.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation in memory of Lupe.
