Susan spent the majority of her career in the wealth management arena. After receiving a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from the University of Michigan and a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School, she spent more than fifteen years as an estate planning attorney before assuming various leadership roles in the banking sector.
Like Macatawa Bank, Susan is committed to enhancing the West Michigan community. She serves on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations in the Grand Rapids area.
