MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS OH (WKZO AM/FM) – An Ohio-based holding company has purchased the SS Badger, a tug barge, and two West Michigan shipping companies.
Interlake Holding Co. announced the purchase on Wednesday.
The Badger, a coal-fired vessel, is a car and passenger ferry that operates between Ludington and Manitowoc, WI.
The SS Spartan, a tug barge, and the Lake Michigan Carferry and Pere Marquette Shipping firms were also purchased by Interlake.
